long suffering

Iv entitled this post long suffering and i am very sure you will realize why in a moment,

So i have big news i have been offered a great job in Care, ill be working in a nursing home with people with dementia and other mental illnesses. I am really looking forward to this great opportunity, Altho this means me moving out of my home that i have lived in for the last 20 years of my life, to live temp with my sister and her little family. - This is going to be a challenge for me as im not so keen on her husband at the moment he has anger ishus and i dont like the way he talks to the people he loves.

Altho this will be a testing time for me im looking forward to the challenge.

Im also unfortunately going to have be realized from my calling in primary in my ward as i will not be spending all my time in my parents house due to my new work. This is such a HUGE change for me.

I have never done such a big move in my life not even going from school to college that was easy... than my next big decision was to study with the Open University. This tho is HUGE im growing up ....

Im not sure i like growing up really......

Hello i'm Still alive!

Hey everyone its been a while since iv Blogged,

Anyone seen the British Pageant? well.. let me tell you it was the most amazing thing i have ever seen. The spirit was so strong in the tent before during and after the show. From the seats my family and i had we could see Moroni sitting on top of the temple during sunset. The way it looked that night was so amazing and so beautiful. My heart swelled up so much. The pageant had me crying laughing, it truly was amazing. I saw an old friend from EFY while i was there its so nice to catch up with people i hadn't seen in a really really long time. I have had amazing experiences with the gospel the last few months my heart is always full of joy for the gospel of Jesus Christ and i don't wish it to ever go away.
           For the first time in 6 years i bore my testimony last month and i tell you i was terrified getting up there after 6 years. what do you say. how can i express all that iv been through and how much iv learnt i'm never alone how do you do that? Well i didn't do any of that i got up i told them i know prayer works and i love the gospel with all my heart, i love our Prophet Thomas S. Monson i love Joseph Smith and Amen.

That was it short and simple i told them what i knew. On Facebook i than had messages saying how lovely it was to hear from me ( as its been a while). My Old Bishop who at the time he was bishop new all about what i was going through and posted that it was short sweet simple and powerful.
My now bishop knows  a little and he said the same. You don't have to stand there and give a story of meaningful events or even tell us your life story all you have to do is stand there and tell me what you believe. I know with everything i have been through i am not alone and i know that prayers get answered simple and true.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true i know with all my heart <3

I love being able to say i am a Member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints :D

Gives me chills :D hahahah

Back again

So a crazy few days, my mother had an operation today she home now tho, were really happy to have her back home. She is an amazing woman shes managed to create from scratch my neices temple dress shes 2 years old and her perants are getting sealed in july :) such an exciting time in our family :)  she has also managed to create wedding decorations for my other neices wedding all before her surgery so in less than a week :)

What els has happened... well I had a supprise my ex boyfriend yeah that one his new girlfriend tried adding me on facebook? Is she joking? I dont think so... so I ignored her. After everything iv been thru why would even slightly open the door to my world for him? NOT HAPPENING.

Anyway, im having so much fun reading the scriptures atm theres a challenge iv taken up,  to read them everyday for no less than 10 mins, its been amazing iv learnt so much ♥

I challenge you all to read the Book of Mormon :)

Bonkers

Been staying with my sister and her family so today we went to a fun centre for children called Bonkers! It was alot of fun my neice is 2 years old and iv never worked up as mich sweat in the gym as I did playing with her, I love it at her age so full of life, so innocent closer to the lord than most people are, she is perfect. Her little brother is only a few months old and he has an adorable smile, he lo ed playing in the ball pit with her. Children are so innocent and pure its amazing how their understanding of the gospel is, I was teaching in nursery a couple of sundays ago and I had one of the older children in there as she wouldnt go into her class, I taught a lesson on The prophet Joseph Smith and the first vision. I was later told by her perants thats she told them that she knew how to talk to her heavenly father, she told them if she goes into the trees and prayes to him like Joseph smith did they will talk to her ♥ hearing this made my heart swell with so much love for her. Children like this little girl see things so clearly about the gospel of jesus christ its when we become to concerned with worldy things that people start to pull away anf see thongs less clearly,

This quote is very powerfull I feel like it rings true for people who know what they should be doing and yet dont. I am not perfect I am far from I know this but I try my very best to do what is right, thats all that matters as long as we try our best to serve be faithful and charitable than our saviours love will shine thru us and people will know we are diffrent and what we belive in as latterday saints :)

I'm a mormon I know it, I love it, I live it ♥♥♥♥♥♥

The sun is shining and were spending the day outside in the garden painting the new fence my dad built, had fun hanging with my family. Had to start my study today cant seem to make head way with it. I am finding it so boring at the moment i have to get cracking soon tho. hummm..... 

 

Iv been on this weight loss program since February and i was doing great at first lost aloud of weight i was 17st 13p and i weighed myself today i am now 16st 8p its great i feel so much better i go to the gym twice a week i swim as often as i can and i try to walk most places now. 2 years ago i weighed around 14st than i got with my now ex and piled on the weight. I hated it i felt so fat i tried to make myself feel better by trying to dress nice and he never complimented me he would just say yeah you look cute or nice. But thats a whole other story and to be honest sometimes i think maybe i should write about it and how iv pulled through but i don't know if i should ..... My weight loss on the other hand is going great as you can see im determine to get down to im thinking 14-13 st id be happy with that. Im happy with the way i look now iv learnt to love myself without someone in my life. 

But i have done well and cant wait to fit into my dress for my nieces wedding :D 

I think maybe one time i blog i will write about the last relationship i was in so that if there is a girl out there who is reading this who is in the same kinda relationship i was in, Support goes a long way :) and if i could help someone by sharing my experience... Ill think about it and let you know :)

an interesting few days.....

:) well i just had a nice surprise, a knock on the door and so i went to answer and who was at the door?
Well it was the missionaries ahhhh!!! i was stood there looking a complete mess had not put on any makeup on all day been lounging around the house so i was a mess! but there they were non the less, so in they came. my mum and brother were like hello.... non of us were expecting them.
 the elders are awesome,

So what has been happening in this mormongirls life,... well church was really good i enjoyed the talks on fathers ( as it was fathers day hear in the UK)  i have a wonderful father, he is an amazing man to father he loves my mother so much. I heard a quote - the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother-      Its really nice i think i hope one day that i can show my children that the best things in life is family and love. I had a conversation with the missionaries today, (they took my brother out with them teaching) we were talking about fathers and i said that my dad loves to joke around he has an amazing sense of hummer, he is the funniest person i know. i don't get embarrassed by him in public i am so use to his jokes and funny sayings in public its something i hope that i can tell and show my future kids one day. An example of him doing this is we were walking around a market/car-boot and he yelled HI and started waving, almost everyone in front of us turned around and started looking to see who would be waving back... they all looked confused. :) he wasn't waving at anyone hahah :) i love my dad so much he and my mother are a huge inspiration to me :)

I created a cake for the elders birthday, his birthday is this Thursday but i wont see them as i'm away at my sisters for a tutorial for my course. anyway i created this cute cake for him with his homeland flag on it with a turtle. I asked him before hand what flavor he would like and he said chocolate so i made chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream and a chocolate turtle. Honestly it smelt amazing, He seemed quite happy to receive it so i hope he enjoys eating it :)

 Elder Hare and Elder Donaldson there both fun to be around they remind me of the elders i grew up with around the house . We use to have elders over pretty much all the time while i was growing up. My dad was a branch president. so we had them over when they were ill they would sleep on the sofa and recover during the day, come for tea every Sunday.
Obviously the rules of the mission are allot strict now so that's fine, they remind me so much of the older missionaries we've had over the years. :)


oooh before i forget you should look up this group on Facebook its created by a friend of mine. Its called "search the scriptures" support him and add so we all can talk and share our beliefs and opinions :) hope you are all doing well,

Wonderful day

Had a wonderful day alittle busy had doctors this morning took some blood to be sent away, and than went shopping for food as we had the missionaries over for food, so busy busy bee.

We had 10 for food today and family home evening it was so fun :) the missionary brought his little guitar that I cant spell the name of, and we sang hymns and primary songs just had a laugh :) I think myself and my father and sister will be sining in my sisters branch soon so that should be fun :)

Honestly im on a spuritual high right now! :D ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Well im off to bed to get ready for another busy day :) good night blog world :)

I hope we keep this sunny whether could do with it for a change a whole week of no rain this must be a record for Wales. Been such a nice day today lovely views on the way to church today i live in such an amazing place shame about the people ;) 

Church was Great!! i love my Calling in the Nursery, i only have 2 boys in there at the moment and boy are they hard to handle, one likes to escape (boy can he run) and the other just sits there and doesn't do anything , poor thing hes From a different country so i don't think he really understands what i am saying as he speaks fluent in his native language... shame hes like a little monkey so cute when he pouts bless hahah :) 

Sunday school was good gave me a lot to think about. I have been in the church my whole life iv had trials and happy times but the last four five years have felt like one after another after another. My time in College was when it all started really, i was studying art for two years. I went there expecting to just keep my head down and do what i enjoy and what my passion was. Well if only i new than what i know now......i made friends with some of the guys and girls and peer-pressure was a huge thing. The place was evil all they did was swear talk about nudity and there relationships. I felt so out of place being a member of the church and they did not like it one bit. One of my friends at the time was gay, i felt like the way they treated him was different to me. It was okay for him to be gay but not okay for me to believe in a god? doesn't seem right huh   . But there we go i started doing things i am not proud of (no alcohol or drugs or smoking) than i met a guy a great guy we started dating and as of Feb this year i broke things off. I stopped wanting to go to church when i was with him i was so sad and have never felt so alone in my entire life. I would cry myself to sleep every night since way before Christmas, After 2 years of being with this guy if i didn't break things off i know i would of slipped into an even darker place than i was already in. 

It has taken me along time to be able to talk to people about how dark the 2 years where for me as to everyone else looking in it was a great relationship. But during Sunday school today i realized i have concord my demons for now that is i know i have many trials to come  i am sure. 

Than home i came to a wonderful Sunday lunch with the family, than birthday cake for my niece :) Spent hours in the garden laughing and reminiscing. I love what the sun does to people, they become more friendly and happy i hope the sunshine stays, (Fingers Crossed)  

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ with all my heart and its never to late to know this, If there is one thing iv learnt and that is you are never alone he is always there to guide us if we ask him to be apart of our lives :)

sunshine :D

Well iv had a great day today, out in the sun with my family gardening, (about time really) well i am from a big family so it didn't take to long to get a lot of the work done. Iv taken on a challenge given by V4V on Facebook to read the scriptures every day so far its going well i am enjoying doing this with my mum.

I heard some horrible news today, i am currently studying Social Science and through the grape vine of the media i have heard they are thinking of moving the legal age of sex to 12?! WHAT ON EARTH ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING, I was so furious at this i have nieces this age makes me so angry what next you going to say that pictures of a 3 year old girl naked on a mans laptop is fine ?!!

This is one reason i can not wait to get out of this country and move continent im 20 years old and i do not want my future children living somewhere were they can have sex legally at 12 with anyone old men any one!!        - RANT OVER

other than hearing that today's been great :) ha-ha!! i delivered cakes to my nieces birthday part they went down well hoping that ill get some orders in to help me towards my holiday. Fingers Crossed.

hello all you out there

HELLO fellow bog people,

This is my first ever blog entry any where on this earth so HELLO ....

well i'm not really sure about what i write on one of these all i know is my niece told me about them and hear i am blogging i feel so 90s.
Anyway hears to my first entry and i guess ill get the hang of writing this. Iv been told to treat it as a journal and i keep one but sometimes it would be nice to hear peoples thoughts and questions i guess.
So hear it goes :D let the fun begin :)
